TMZ and the Rihanna Photo

This photo of a bruised and battered Rihanna, allegedly at the hands of Chris Brown, has prompted an LAPD investigation into whether the image of the battered singer was leaked to TMZ from within.

Harvey Levin claims that TMZ did not get the photo illegally.
LEVIN: The last thing to say is the way we got this was 100% legal. I have to tell you, at least as we have this meeting, I certainly am not convinced that this is even an LAPD photo.

In addition to his work on TMZ, Levin is a lawyer, a graduate of University of Chicago. Not that lawyers don't lie, but Levin certainly must be measuring his words very carefully.

    Well then it will be smart if he'd tell how he got the photo. Just to stop the rumors of illegal leak of it. But Levin, speaking as if he still has something to hide then probably he is.

    Saying TMZ got the photo legally isn't enough. Levin is leaving a lot of questions unanswered.
