McCain: Jimmy Carter Worst President (Audio)

John McCain and I agree completely on this.

While being interviewed by Michael Medved, McCain commented on Jimmy Carter's recent remarks about Obama and racism.

From Breitbart:

Transcript

MICHAEL MEDVED: Jimmy Carter's most recent statements, both yesterday and today, there's more -- claiming that the animosity to some of the administration's programs and to President Obama must be a reflection of racism.

JOHN McCAIN: I'm deeply disturbed by those accusations because it's an unfair and untrue commentary on the American people, and them exercising their God-given rights to disagree with the administration. It seems to me that President Carter has earned his place as, if not the worst president in history, certainly the worst in the 20th century.

Straight talk from McCain.

He's absolutely right.

Yeah, no kidding that John McCain would stick up for the Republican jerk who could not contain his disrespect enough to keep his mouth shut during a presidential address to a joint session of Congress.
What a surprise...
In all of the years of GWB shredding the constitution and waging illegal war, no Democrat ever shouted him down as a liar during a speech.
To that degree, Jimmy Carter's remark that Wilson's outburst may be a reflection of racism just might not be far from the mark.
Wilson made an outrageous gesture of disrespect to the President. Had Obama been white, the protocol of the office might have held greater sway in Wilson's mind and held his tongue in place.
I am sick and tired of the scoundrels in this country who pass themselves off as patriots dumping on Jimmy Carter. I don't disagree that his micro-managing personality didn't help his presidency, but he has done this country prouder for his humanitarian works as an ex-President than all of them put together.
