The thugs at the town hall meeting in Wauwatosa with Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner and State Representative Leah Vukmir on March 7, 2011, chanted, "This is what democracy looks like."
They raised their voices in that chant after they had prevented Sensenbrenner and Vukmir from conducting the meeting, heckling them and shouting them down. The Leftist mob succeeded in shutting down the event.
That's NOT at all what democracy looks like.
Here's video:
Good Lord.
Is this the new normal in Wisconsin?
These Leftists need to grow up and learn how to use their indoor voice. They need to learn how to converse in a manner that's constructive.
"SHAME, SHAME, SHAME" on you, Leftists.
I am ashamed of these people from my fair city. They do not represent the majority in Wauwatosa. Most of us stand with our fellow Tosa resident, Governor Scott Walker.
ReplyDeleteI think it's important for the "silent majority" to contact the governor, our senators, and representatives to remind them that the thugs don't speak for us.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you voice similar criticisms when the similar tactics were used by righties at town hall meetings in the early days of the T-party.
ReplyDeleteJust to be clear, I don't agree with these tactics. Relegate the noisy protest to the sidewalk, fine. But keep the actual forum civil. Both sides.
ReplyDeleteIt's coming...
ReplyDeleteThis is just the beginning.
I did voice my concern about thugs at the town hall meetings in the summer of 2009.
