Dan Rather has just quit the "CBS Evening News," revisiting his courage signoff.
"Not long after I first came into the anchor chair I briefly signed off using the word 'courage.' I want to return to it now in a different way."
Rather wanted say it to the victims of Sept. 11, to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He also wanted to say it
"to my fellow journalists in places where reporting the truth means risking all. And to each of you. Courage."
