Fred Thompson's campaign is in trouble, BIG trouble.
When write-ins have a better showing, there's a serious problem.
If Thompson manages to get his campaign on track and really be a contender, it will be one of the most miraculous comebacks in American presidential political history.
I don't see that happening.
I hate to see it play out this way, but it is what it is.
I've been lamenting that Fred has shown no vigor, no desire to be President. He seems to be "going for it" in South Carolina. Man I hope he busts out.
ReplyDeleteI think he has shown a desire to be president. It's just Thompson has a different style. It's foreign to what we've come to expect from candidates.
ReplyDeleteI think pundits and voters misinterpret his low key approach as a lack of interest.
Unfortunately, I do think it's over for Thompson.
