Brewers Win 8 Straight

If Miller Park didn't have a roof, the Brewers probably would not have won their 8th straight game on Saturday night. The game probably would have been rained out.

But Miller Park does have a roof and the Brewers did win.

So far in this young 2014 season, the Milwaukee Brewers sprinted out to an early lead in the National League Central with top-notch pitching and a powerful and opportunistic offense.

Saturday, though, Milwaukee's defense came through in the clutch, turning two huge plays late as the Brewers extended their winning streak to eight games with a 3-2 victory over the Pirates at Miller Park.

What a great start to the season!
