This Republican administration has just fought for $700 billion of corporate welfare and you're calling Obama a socialist!!! You guys need to figure out what you stand for because I don't get the Republicans anymore. You obviously do support not only big government but MASSIVE unparalleled government intervention!!!!
I have one question that no one seems to be answering. Obama keeps going on about our terrible economy, how the little people are broke, broke, broke...so how are these same people giving him 605 million dollars?????
That intervention was supposed to save little people from losses if these giants went kaput. Either way we're gonna have to pay for it. This is neither here nor there.
Why is is that these hotheated liberals are always anonymous? And never directly address the real issue?
A preview of coming attractions of an Obama administration?
BTW, the economic storm is coming. The market is already reacting to an Obama Presidency and businesses will be doing the same very soon by paring expenses and cutting overhead (jobs). (Some have already started)
Today, Friday, October 24, 2008 the real world financial bloodbath begins. Futures trading has been halted. Obama, Dodd, Franks, Pelosi and Reid are not ready for prime time. We could be headed for a mini-depression. Unemployment is headed for 10%+ in no time. Business has finally faced the fact that financially we are screwed for the next four years. The Dow may be at 7,000 in the next week.
But, the above mentioned couldn't care less. Their only focus will be how they can use the depression for their political advantage.
Chrysler is cutting 25% of its workforce. The white collar layoffs are coming much soon than anticipated. The suburban soccer moms are going to be in for a huge shock. But that's what happens when people are not engaged in the state of their country and the world. They are too busy shopping, going to the spa and taking cruises to be bothered with such inane subjects. This is not going to be pretty.
