Tom Barrett: Fundraising E-mail

URGENT ACTION REQUIRED!

That's the subject line of an e-mail from Tom Barrett, the candidate for governor.

Dear Friend,

In the days following my announcement for governor, we’ve heard an amazingly positive response from people all across Wisconsin. Now I need you to help me reach our first crucial campaign benchmark.

I am in this campaign for critically important, reasons: to create and attract more good jobs across the state, to fix the budget mess in Madison, and to make our government works for the people. To reach our goals, we need your help.

By December 31st we must demonstrate the strength of our support. We have our fundraising deadline where everyone will be watching to see if we will have the resources to win. Together, we need to send a message that this campaign will prevail next November. Will you stand with me today by making a contribution of $35, $50, $100 or more to make sure we reach our goal?

Does this mean that Barrett wants to be governor?

Is this his idea of reaching out to the people of Wisconsin?

"To make our government works for the people"?

I think Barrett needs some better campaign workers.

Scott Walker has been all over the state, talking to people, discussing his plans for real hope and change in Wisconsin.

Barrett has sent out an URGENT fundraising e-mail.

Barrett has a lot of catching up to do.
