Milwaukee Beaches - Unsafe to Swim

It's going to be hot today and tomorrow -- beach weather.

If you're thinking about going to a beach in the Milwaukee area to cool off, forget it.

The water poses a health hazard.

That's what happens when Lake Michigan is used as a sewer.





This is sad.

Milwaukee's lakefront -- Water, water, everywhere, nor any drop to swim.

MMSD's dumping of sewage in the lake is horrible, but having that sewage back up into your basement would be an even lower level of hell.

A flooded basement is a nightmare, but I would be outraged if I had to deal with sewage, as much as a foot, backing up into my home year after year.

Complicating matters, the Menomonee River broke a gate and is flowing into the deep tunnel.

One fine mess.
