Wisconsin State Fair 2015: New Foods

Check out the list of new foods available at this year's Wisconsin State Fair.

I tried Water Street Brewery's "Wis-Cone-sin" at Summerfest. It's a "soft pretzel cone w/ chicken schnitzel, potato pancake, German rotkohl, cinnamon apple straws, beer reduction."

Actually, it's two small chicken tenders and a McDonald's-type of hash browns piece on top of red cabbage in a pretzel cone.

I would not recommend it.

I also will not be having the Kangaroo Burger, served "regular or w/ peanut butter & bacon," from the Exotic Meat Grill.

Kangaroo?

No thanks.

Lakefront Brew Pub & Eatery is offering a "Fat Elvis Sundae." It's a "Peanut butter cup w/ banana batter wrapped in bacon sundae."

I love the fair. The only thing bad about it is that it signals the summer is winding down.
