20 March 1943 | The first transport of Jews deported from ghetto in #Thessaloniki arrived at #Auschwitz with 2,800 men, woman and children. During the selection SS doctors chose 417 men & 192 women who were registered. The remaining 2,191 people were murdered in gas chambers.
