Bree Newsome: Teenage Knife Fights Don't Need Police Involvement

Bree Newsome, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter, considers teenagers having fights with knives a normal part of life. She thinks police should stay out of this violent way of dealing with disputes.

Everyone should be frightened that the ruling white elite have done such a thoroughly successful job of not only disconnecting us from the means of basic self-sufficiency but also convincing us we need armed white officers to manage our children & communities.

Frightening.

People survive knife wounds far more often than they survive police shooting them multiple times in the chest. If the police resolution to every conflict involving Black & brown people is to shoot &/or kill someone, we don’t need police. Defund & abolish policing now.

While terribly disturbing, it makes sense that Newsome would hold these shocking views about social interaction between teenagers.

That kind of thinking is the foundation of Black Lives Matter. Chaos is necessary for the overthrow of our social order and the success of their revolution.
