Labor Day needs to be renamed.
Maybe Big Government Day? Free Handouts Day? Dependence Day?
I like Dependence Day. That works.
We now celebrate dependence on government. That's un-American.
If we truly recognize the importance of work, we should encourage people to work. We shouldn't reward dependence.
