If Robert Crimo was looking for a 4th of July celebration to attack, Madison, hotbed of anti-Americanism, wouldn't be a good place to go.

Madison is hours away from Highland Park. That's a long way to drive and then turn around.

It is chilling that the killer considered another act of domestic terrorism on the 4th. He had already taken so many innocent lives.
