Before Terrell Thompson killed a Milwaukee police officer, it was clear he was a danger to the community. He should have been behind bars for a hit-and-run of an occupied vehicle rather than released on probation hours before he committed murder.

Criminals need to be treated like the criminals they are. It would save lives.
