"A sandwich"? That's funny. I'm stickler about literature. Jean Valjean was imprisoned for stealing a loaf of bread, not having a sandwich.Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna to the IRS whistleblower:

DEMOCRAT RO KHANNA: I just think 'cause you have a history of wanting to charge people and then people pushing back. By your own testimony under oath, you said about 90% of the time people are pushing back on what you want to do. And I'm not questioning, I mean, you are a stickler for the law. You know, it reminds me of Les Mis, and the famous person who wanted to get the person who had the sandwich. I mean, and, then all those times, you've got people pushing back on you.The "stickler for the law" accusation against IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley, comparing him to the crazed Javert, is nuts. Expecting to hold Hunter Biden and the Big Guy accountable for their crimes is in no way comparable to the pursuit of someone who stole bread to feed hungry children. Biden and Hunter are not victims. They're crooks.
