President Bush's Statement

Today millions of Americans are saddened by the death of Terri Schiavo. Laura and I extend our condolences to Terri Schiavo's families. I appreciate the example of grace and dignity they have displayed at a difficult time. I urge all those who honor Terri Schiavo to continue to work to build a culture of life, where all Americans are welcomed and valued and protected, especially those who live at the mercy of others. The essence of civilization is that the strong have a duty to protect the weak. In cases where there are serious doubts and questions, the presumption should be in the favor of life.

The most solemn duty of the American President is to protect the American people. Since September the 11th, 2001, we've taken bold and vigorous steps to prevent further attacks and overcome emerging threats. We face a new and different kind of enemy. The threats today are unprecedented. The lives of our citizens are at stake. To protect them, we need the best intelligence possible, and we must stay ahead of constantly changing intelligence challenges…

After commenting on Terri's passing, President Bush went on to discuss the WMD Commission Report, saying, "The most solemn duty of the American President is to protect the American people."

I think another duty of the American President is to protect the American people from the American Judiciary.

In loving Chirstian rebuke and exortaion I must correct you on some major missguidance in scripture/doctrine/Christianity (some areas I have had difficulty myself).

First and formost Christ called all Christians to enter in to his Kingdom and separation from this world and its goverment (we are still subject to the laws of our goverment as long as they do not contradict God's). Christ also calls all Christians to a life of nonresistance and nonparticipation.

It was Christ who said: Put up again thy sword, for those that take the sword perish with the sword. Christ also said that we are to love our enemies, To feed them if they hunger, and if they thirst give them drink, and if we only love those that love us what good is that even the sinners do that.

Christ also Said not only should we not kill but we should not even be angry with our brother. And the Bible is clear that we should not speak ill of others, especially our leaders.

Also the Bible says in Hebrews 12:14 Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:
15looking carefully lest `there be' any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble `you', and thereby the many be defiled;
16lest `there be' any fornication, or profane person, as Esau, who for one mess of meat sold his own birthright.
17For ye know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected; for he found no place for a change of mind `in his father,' though he sought is diligently with tears.

So to support war and such things while claiming to be a Christian is like water and oil (they do not mix). Christ Said: My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight.

I would suggest going to the word of God and not following men.

It is good to see one concerned for the life of others (i.e. Terri, John Paul) it would be nice to see the same concerne for the 150,000 Iraqis that have lost their lives for things of this world.

If we truely die to self what is it we are fightig for? Only those of this world want war.

What Kingdom do you belong to? The Kingdom of Christ? Or the Kingdom of this world (the prince of the power of the air / Lucifer)?

One only has to look at the National monument(an obelisk/pagan pillar) and the Pentagon (pentagram) to see that we are defind by and lead by another kingdom. Who do you trust?

You've made a number of misguided assumptions about me and my beliefs.

In loving "Chirstian rebuke," I believe you meant to say "Christian."

Then again, I don't want to make assumptions about you, chris and april.
