What????????????

On yesterday's Nightline, when Chris Bury asked Michael Schiavo to address charges that he is condemning his wife to an agonizing death by starvation, he responded:

"Terry will not be starved to death. Her nutrition and hydration will be taken away."

starve Pronunciation Key (stärv)
v. starved, starv·ing, starves
v. intr.
To suffer or die from extreme or prolonged lack of food.

Apparently, Michael Schiavo thinks that taking away Terri's nutrition and hydration does not fall under the definition of "starve."

Schiavo's two sentences highlight the irrationality that feeds the pro-death movement and the culture of death in America.

In addition to moral clarity, the man lacks mental clarity.
