I Don't Want AGTV

What do you do when you've hit a dead end in your life?

Al Gore knows---launch a cable channel.

Al Gore believes that the Internet generation needs to be lured back to television.

According to Al, "We're about empowering this generation ... to engage in the dialogue of democracy and tell the story of what's going on in their lives in the dominant media of our time."

Way to go, Al. Of all the things a former vice president of the United States could do with his time, this has to be at the top of the lame list.

The man who wanted to be president decides to focus his talent and intellect on a cable channel in partnership with Google.

What an exemplar!

Do you think Dick Cheney is working out a deal with Yahoo?

Actually, its alot lamer than we all thought. Not only is it Al Gore's channel (called "Current" lol), but it will feature independent internet videos.

These kids should be thankful, they owe their very success and existence to the inventor of the information superhighway...

It is funny that Gore seeks to lure young people back to TV.

You'd think he'd take great satisfaction in having his "invention" be so popular.

I guess he didn't register the Internet with the patent office, so he's getting none of the benefits for all of his hard work.

hehehe
