BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

The Sunday morning shows are boring me. It's the same old, same old. On the upside, I was spared seeing Joe Biden on this week's round.

On FOX News Sunday, Dick Durbin refused to address Harry Reid's reference to Judge Saad's confidential FBI file, suggesting that it contained damaging information. Chris Wallace pressed Durbin to comment on the highly unethical behavior of the of the Senate's minority leader. He very awkwardly side-stepped the question. It appears even Dems are embarrassed by the way Reid conducts himself. Durbin didn't even try to cover Reid's tracks.

Meanwhile, on Face the Nation, Bob Schieffer was lobbying for the filibuster of judicial nominees with Ted Kennedy. Kennedy was claiming again that the constitutional option is about a power grab by Republicans. He was blabbing about needing to maintain the integrity of the Senate. Every time I hear Kennedy say anything about integrity it disgusts me. Does anyone take Kennedy's lecturing about integrity seriously? Kennedy then bashed Bolton, saying, "We need more Sen. Voinoiches." Voinovich has become the Dems' sweetheart.

On Meet the Press, the roundtable discussion moved to the dinner that was held in support of Tom DeLay. The liberals, with Russert as an accomplice, continued their work at demonizing the senator.

On ABC's This Week, John McCain was the guest. He kept afloat the idea that compromise on the filibuster issue is in the air. The roundtable session, with George Will, Cokie Roberts, and Paul Begala participating, was a pro-filibuster, anti-Bolton pep rally, with George Stephanopoulos as head cheerleader.

RAH, RAH, RAH! BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!
