CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX are all carrying the reading of the Jackson verdict live.
The networks give up air time for this; but they refuse to carry President Bush's addresses to the nation, citing cable news picking up the slack.
Very twisted. This is a circus, a soap opera--not important breaking news.

Well Mary, listening to Bush speak is too boring for most viewers. Grotesque circuses are more entertaining...
