Furious Ted Turner

Earlier this week, The New York Post's PageSix.com reported that Ted Turner would be joining former wife Jane Fonda when she goes on the road with her vegetable oil-fueled bus to protest the war in Iraq.

Fonda's third ex-husband
Turner was "furious" when he learned of the report.

His spokeswoman MAURA DONLAN told the website, "Your column this week said Mr Turner was joining Jane Fonda on her bus tour.

"Mr Turner wants me to tell you he will not be joining Jane."

Turner certainly can't be furious over Fonda's opposition to the war.
On January 25, 2005, at the National Association for Television Programming Executives' conference, Turner said:

"We've spent 200 billion destroying Iraq. Now we've got to spend 200 billion to rebuild it, if they'll let us – and all to find a nut in a fox hole – one guy. ... He posed no threat to any of his neighbors, particularly with us there with overwhelming military superiority. ... [I]t is obscene and stupid."

Is Turner furious because he doesn't want to be associated with Fonda?

Is he simply angry because he does anger so well?
