Dick and Paris Hilton

As the John Roberts confirmation hearings in the Senate Judiciary Committee draw to a close, Dick Durbin provided some entertainment.

The senator, who depicted American personnel at Gitmo as Nazis, keepers of a gulag, and Pol Pot's minions, showed great concern for Paris Hilton.

While whining about "stolen" records, Durbin fretted over poor Paris and her cell phone being hacked.

Without question, Paris Hilton's privacy was invaded by this teen cyber criminal. In my opinion, the punk deserves no mercy.

I just found it amusing that Durbin invoked Paris Hilton while questioning John Roberts.

It also had a disturbing element. The thought of Durbin dwelling on Paris Hilton creeps me out.
