Ahmadinejad, Pinky and the Brain

What do you think is the first thought that pops into Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's head when he wakes up in the morning?

I think his thought process goes something like this:

"What should I do today?
Hmmm. I guess I'll do the same thing I do everyday. I think I'll make a speech and call for the destruction of Israel."

I suspect that Ahmadinejad has a sort of continuous deranged internal dialogue running. It's similar to the exchange regularly engaged in by Pinky and the Brain.

Pinky: Gee, Brain, what are we going to do tonight?
Brain: The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world!

I'm not certain, but I don't think that Pinky and the Brain powered the Brain Cave with nuclear energy.
Iran Focus reports on Ahmadinejad's Wednesday rant:

"The regime occupying Qods (Jerusalem) was set up to create insecurity and confrontation in our region. If one day tranquillity came about, it would mean the death of this regime", Ahmadinejad said in the northern town of Ramyan during a speech broadcast live on state television.

"Our enemies on the one hand oppose our nation’s acquisition of nuclear energy and on the other hand want to divert the attention of other nations from the key issue of Palestine to give an opportunity to the Zionist regime to prolong its existence", he said.

"One of the main reasons why the big powers oppose Iran on the nuclear issue is for the sake of the Zionist regime, so as to let this regime live on. But they are unaware that not only will the Iranian nation continue in the path of obtaining nuclear energy till the end, it will not even for one instant divert its attention from the issue of Palestine".

"The regime occupying Qods [Israel] is the key to [Western] countries’ domination in Muslim lands, and with every blow at this occupying regime, it’s the pillars of the Global Arrogance (the West) that are targeted".

How can anyone (Kofi Annan) believe that Ahmadinejad's Iran should be allowed to pursue any sort of nuclear capabilities?

It boggles the mind.

The president of Iran is obsessed with the destruction of Israel and the presence of Western influence in Muslim lands.

Ahmadinejad's life's purpose is to annihilate Israel, and thereby attack the United States and Western nations.

In a speech marking the 27th anniversary of the Islamic revolution, Ahmadinejad said, "We ask the West to remove what they created sixty years ago and if they do not listen to our recommendations, then the Palestinian nation and other nations will eventually do this for them."

He threatened, "Do the removal of Israel before it is too late and save yourself from the fury of regional nations."

The seriousness of the threat that Ahmadinejad presents to the global community cannot be dismissed. He is a menace.

Note to the "Bush is Hitler" liberals and Dick Durbin: Looking for a modern day Hitler? Look no further than madman Ahmadinejad.

The Iranian president continues to inflame militant Islam on a daily basis. He is a massive sinkhole on the road to peace in the Middle East.

Unlike the Brain, Ahmadinejad is not a harmless mouse with an enlarged cranium and a goofy, but lovable, sidekick.

Brain: Are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: "Uh, I think so Brain, but this time, you wear the tutu."

I'm not willing to give up on the possibility of peace in the Middle East.

Just as the dissolution of the Soviet Union seemed like a pipe dream, things may turn around in the Middle East much sooner than we can imagine right now.

I know that's wishful thinking, but it's better than dwelling on the alternative.
