Ahmadinejad Watch

Iran's president obviously feels threatened by free states.

TEHRAN, Mar. 18 (MNA) -- President Mahmud Ahmadinejad said here on Saturday that the development of Islamic states would be to the benefit of the Muslim world.

In a meeting with the new Yemeni Ambassador to Tehran Jamal Abdullah al-Solal, Ahmadinejad said that Islamic countries should support one another at all scientific, cultural, economic and political fields.

He referred to the economic and cultural backwardness of Islamic states as well as the all-out attack against the holy religion of Islam as two main problems facing Muslims.

The Islamic Ummah should unite and develop ties in order to remove such obstacles, the president said.

He called on Muslims to exercise vigilance since the enemies seek to sow the seeds of discord among Islamic countries.

This is pure propaganda.

What "all-out attack against the holy religion of Islam"?

Ahmadinejad is intentionally misleading the people of Iran and neighboring nations.

He's a criminal. He thinks he's above the law. His mission is to prevent people from exercising their basic human rights.

I think I'll write to Russ Feingold and suggest that he introduce a resolution to censure Ahmadinejad. Perhaps his colleagues in the Senate would be more receptive to that idea.
