Criminal Hillary

Two weeks ago, Hillary said that the immigration bill written by Jim Sensenbrenner and Peter King is an abomination.

She stated, "It is certainly not in keeping with my understanding of the Scriptures. This bill would literally criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably even Jesus himself."

Bible scholar Hillary upped the ante on Wednesday.

According to Hillary, not only would the bill turn the Good Samaritan and Jesus into criminals, she says that she belongs on the Most Wanted list, too.

GASP!!!

Hillary a criminal???

I fear that this is more than the public can take.

WASHINGTON -- Speaking to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, [Hillary Clinton] claimed her work on behalf of New York constituents would run afoul of the House bill setting penalties for anyone who knowingly assists or encourages illegal immigrants to remain here.

"I realize I would be a criminal, too. My staff would be criminal. We help people with all kinds of problems," said Clinton, D-N.Y., prompting titters in the audience.

Hillary actually got some "titters" out of the audience. That's amazing. She's almost the last person that I'd expect to be able to elicit a few chuckles from people.

John Kerry would be the last. No, may be Al Gore.

...Rep. Peter King charged Clinton is the one spreading misinformation, saying the only way his bill would make her acriminal is if she was a "coyote," another term for an immigrant smuggler.

"I hope that Sen. Clinton is not suggesting that she and her staff are members of an alien smuggling gang, or that she is a coyote posing as a senator," said King.

The bill, he said, "has absolutely nothing to do with churches or social workers or senators assisting illegal immigrants. It is aimed entirely at alien smuggling gangs."

Hillary spreading misinformation?

WHAT???

Hillary Clinton? Misleading?

That's...exactly what I'd expect from her.

As far as I'm concerned, Hillary can have it her way. Make her happy. Call her a criminal.

Speaking of criminal behavior, this is kind of funny.

Hillary revealed something else about herself during her speech at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. We now know that she's a plagiarist.

WASHINGTON -- It was a case of Clinton deja vu.

"There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be fixed by what is right about America," Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, the former first lady who seems to be aiming for a return to the White House, said Wednesday as she wrapped up her speech to a Hispanic organization.

Excuse the crowd if they had heard it before. The New York Democrat, who clearly took good notes, had very slightly revised her husband's old standard, from his inaugural address on Jan. 20, 1993.

"There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America," President Clinton told the nation then.

Fixed.

Cured.

That's not much of a revision. It's nearly no revision at all.

The conclusion: Hillary lifted her line from Bill; not quite verbatim, but it's awfully close.

God knows he owes her one, or several, but I still don't think Hillary should be presenting words previously delivered by Bill as if they were her own.

In sum, the immigration bill does not make criminals out of Hillary or her staff or the Good Samaritan or Jesus.

BUT--

When it comes to copyright issues and intellectual property, Hillary may have stepped into illegal territory by infringing on Bill's rights.

So, yes. Yes, indeed.

Hillary can be considered accurate in her realization that she is a criminal.
