DISASTER FOR THE DEMS

Obviously, reports of Karl Rove's indictment have been greatly exaggerated.

Truthout reported Rove's indictment on May 13, 2006.

A few days later, Marc Ash, Executive Director of truthout, issued a
"partial apology," saying that "we erred in getting too far out in front of the news-cycle."

That's an understatement.

As of now, Ash has yet to issue a FULL APOLOGY to his readers and to Karl Rove.

He's probably inconsolable at the moment. Being a compassionate conservative, I understand. I feel his pain. The rug has been ripped out from under him. Poor baby.

The libs are
reacting to news with dismay.

I'd like to know what Joe Wilson is doing right now.

Perhaps he's preparing for a Vanity Fair photo shoot.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- White House aide Karl Rove will not be charged in the CIA leak case, his lawyer said on Tuesday in a much-needed boost for President George W. Bush's White House, which has been battered by bad news for months.

Freeing Bush's top political adviser from possible indictment on perjury charges allows him to concentrate on Republicans winning the key congressional elections coming up in November.

"On June 12, 2006, special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald formally advised us that he does not anticipate seeking charges against Karl Rove," Rove's lawyer, Robert Luskin, said in a statement.

Fitzgerald didn't deliver for the Dems.

No Rove indictment.

The fat lady sang.

...Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean said the fact Rove won't face indictment "does not excuse his real sin, which is leaking the name of an intelligence operative during a time of war. He doesn't belong in the White House."

"So I think this is probably good news for the White House, but it's not very good news for America," Dean told NBC's "Today Show."

But Republican National Chairman Ken Mehlman told CNN this was just an example of how Democrats "rush to judgment."

"They owe him an apology," Mehlman said of Democratic leaders.

Dean is insane, but we already knew that. We know the guy is clueless and possibly the worst DNC chairman of all time.

Mehlman is right. The Dems and their parrots in the lib media rushed to judgment. They sprinted to judgment.

There was a lot of sound and fury over Rove's certain indictment from the Left. As it turns out, it signified nothing.

They look like complete idiots.

Same old, same old.
