Kofi Annan's True Colors

Kofi Annan is an absolute disgrace.

His United Nations is a corrupt, impotent, terrorist-appeasing, genocide-denying, anti-Semitic organization.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) -- The United Nations said on Wednesday it asked Israel a dozen times to stop bombing near a U.N. post in Lebanon in the hours before an Israeli air attack destroyed the position killing four peacekeepers.

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan initially referred to Tuesday's deadly Israeli strike as the "apparently deliberate targeting" of the Khiam U.N. observer post.

But he softened his stance after talking with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who said he believed it was a mistake and would order an investigation.

"We await the end of the investigations, and I am grateful for the prime minister for what he has said, and we accept his words," Annan said in Rome, where he was attending a conference on the conflict between Israel and Hizbollah.

Are we supposed to give Annan credit for his "softened" stance today?

What a diplomat! He's the world's savior!

Yesterday, reacting to the bombing of a UN post housing UN peacekeepers IN A WAR ZONE, Annan lashed out at Israel.

Annan said:

"I am shocked and deeply distressed by the apparently deliberate targeting by Israeli Defence Forces of a UN observer post in southern Lebanon.

"This co-ordinated artillery and aerial attack on a long-established and clearly marked UN post at Khiam occurred despite personal assurances given to me by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that UN positions would be spared Israeli fire.

"I call on the Government of Israel to conduct a full investigation into this very disturbing incident and demand any further attack on UN positions and personnel must stop."

I'm disgusted by Annan's words, but I'm not shocked, not at all.

Read about Annan's United Nations and his "peacekeepers"
here and here and here and here.

When you think that the United Nations and Kofi Annan can't sink any lower, they do.

Although the UN most notably came under fire for its Oil-for-Food program, that is far from its only disgrace.

UN peacekeepers are sexually abusing the weak and the vulnerable.

Although this corrupt operation doesn't involve billions of dollars, Food-for-Sex is just as despicable.

And now, we have Annan initially charging Israel with a "deliberate" strike on a UN post.

The UN's actions and words, as well as its failure to act and its failure to use words such as "terrorism" and "genocide," are inexcusable.

For some insight into the UN and Hezbollah connection, read
David Kopel's piece, "United Nations an Accomplice in Hezbollah Kidnapping." (This really is a MUST READ.)

In spite of all this, the UN is held up as the answer to the world's problems.

Right now, Democrat UN worshippers are gearing up to bash John Bolton, as if he's the problem.

Yesterday, Russ Feingold said, "In nearly twelve months on the job, Ambassador John Bolton has failed to demonstrate the leadership and diplomacy that are needed at this critical time."

Doesn't Russ have a problem with the disgraceful Annan?

Is Russ on board with Oil-for-Food and Food-for-Sex and the UN standing idly by in the face of a laundry list of abuses?

I have a suggestion for Feingold and his "July 1, 2007 troop withdrawal deadline" buddy John Kerry and Chris Dodd and all the other Dems and RINOs that believe in the UN's infallibility:

HOLD KOFI ANNAN ACCOUNTABLE.

Extremists in the IDF are most likely responsible for the UN post strike. Judging by the hostility to the UN on this board, I can see where they get their support from.

Why do you all hate Kofi so much? He's as sympathetic to Israel and Jews as anyone. His girlfriend is(was) Jewish.

Actually, come to think of it, that's probably one of the reasons you hate him so much. A powerful black man with a white woman? Call the lynch mob. A pure Jew with a goy schwarz? The christianazis and the zionists must hate that.

Too bad he's going to be replaced this year, you won't have him to blame when the US and the IDF run amok over some more Muslim countries.

Poor Khalid. I genuinely feel sorry for you.

There are so many weird things in your comment that I don't even know where to begin.

Your attacks on me are baseless.

You remind me of Al Franken.
