Today's featured out-of-state donor to Jim Doyle's campaign is John Chambers.
John Chambers is the president and CEO of Cisco Systems, "The Worldwide Leader in Networking for the Internet."
He lives in Los Altos Hills, California with his wife Constance.
On May 1, 2006, Chambers gave Doyle $10,000.
Sure, Chambers has money to burn. $10,000 is just a drop in his bucket.
I don't know why Chambers is trying to influence the governor's race in Wisconsin; but based on Doyle's past behavior, I'm sure Doyle will find a way to show his gratitude for the $10,000 donation.
"From here on out, restoring Wisconsin's reputation for clean and honest government will be a sacred commitment, not an empty and neglected rhetorical flourish."
