Jordan Edmund

Who is Jordan Edmund?

Everybody knows him. The country has been obsessed with him. All other issues seem to be taking a backseat to Edmund's story.

Dems hope that he plays a role in determining the outcome of the mid-term elections, something that potentially could dramatically alter the future of the United States.

Until Wednesday afternoon, Edmund was known as Xxxxxxxxx.

Brian Ross and ABC and the Dems have been having a great time splashing the words of Xxxxxxxxx, destroying Mark Foley, and going after Dennis Hastert.

But, just like Sandy Berger, they were sloppy.

The identity of Foley's boy toy is no longer a secret. I knew it was only a matter of time. These sort of secrets aren't kept.

ABC slipped up on the slime that they've been letting ooze out on the ABC News website.

They blame a "technical glitch" for the temporary display of Edmund's screen name, Lolakana223.

Of course they do.

How could ABC be so incredibly careless?

What difference does it make if the identity leak was due to a technical glitch or an intentional move?

It certainly matters from an ethical, and I suppose legal, perspective whether it was done with malice, but what really matters is that Edmund is no longer anonymous.

Once the genie is out of the bottle, once the toothpaste is out of the tube, it's too late. The damage is done. There's no going back.

Because of ABC's carelessness, bloggers
Wild Bill and Ms. Underestimated followed up, did some research, and managed to identify the page.

Remember, it was because of information that ABC released on the Internet that made that possible.

Check their sites for lots of information and pics if you're interested in learning how they pieced the puzzle together.

Drudge posted ABC's reaction:

"We go to great lengths to prevent the names of alleged sex crime victims from being revealed. On Friday there was a very brief technical glitch on our site which was overridden immediately. It is possible that during that very brief interval a screen name could have been captured. Reviews of the site since then show no unredacted screen names."

Blah, blah, blah.

How could they be so careless with Edmund's screen name?

How could they reveal little Jordan's identity?

Don't they care about the children???

Clearly, they don't care enough to spare Edmund the humiliation of exposure.

As it turns out, the most salacious Foley and Edmund
IM chat touted by ABC took place when the page was eighteen.

From Drudge:

On Tuesday ABC news released a high-impact instant message exchange between Foley and, as ABC explained, a young man "under the age of 18."

ABC headlined the story: "New Foley Instant Messages; Had Internet Sex While Awaiting House Vote"

But upon reviewing the records, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, the young man was in fact over the age of 18 at the time of the exchange.

A network source explains, messages with the young man and disgraced former Congressman Foley took place before and after the 18th birthday.

Now, Brian Ross and ABC and the Leftists will have to spin this latest glitch in the Dems' smear campaign.

They will say the page's age at the time of that particular exchange is irrelevant. They'll say Foley was engaging in predatory behavior before Edmund turned eighteen. They'll say that Hastert knew what a perv Foley was but he covered up for him.

Basically, they'll say the same crap that they've been saying for days and days.

The difference is that Brian Ross and ABC can't claim the moral high ground.

They exploited the IMs for political purposes. They misled the public by claiming that the most infamous exchange was between a MINOR and a creepy Republican sexual predator.

In fact, THEY used Edmund and THEY failed to protect him.

Do you repeat those same lib talking points often?

It's documented that the Dem operatives and allies held the IMs to dump at the most opportune time and that they shopped the e-mails around.

Furthermore, if you didn't know Edmund's name until you saw it here today then you are living under a rock.

Where have you been?

I don't buy your claims.

A word of advice: Lying kind of destroys your credibility.

I didn't post it until the MAINSTREAM MEDIA named him. I had no pictures on this post originally. After they were widely circulated in the MAINSTREAM MEDIA, I added them.

Edmund hired a high profile lawyer. He's all over the news.

I commented on this news story. If I'm exploiting Edmund then so are the MAINSTREAM MEDIA outlets.

Lastly, what does any of this have to do with Iraq?

Your modus operandi is showing.

P.S. You don't have to be so rude.
