Bloomberg: Quote of the Week

It's only Monday, but I'm going to go out on a limb and declare the following statement from New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg as the quote of the week:

"We are waiting for the gas to pass."

This guy does not think well on his feet.

I'm not making light of the
situation in New York.

"It may just be an unpleasant smell," Bloomberg said. "Our suggestion is that people should do their best to ventilate areas, open their windows or turn on any fans until this gas passes."

The smell is reason for serious concern, but what a remarkably poor choice of words by Bloomberg!

That's funny.

What's funnier is Bloomberg all but admitting his city smells like crap.

Considering it is the biggest crapper in the U.S. it shouldn't be surprise though.

Didn't Bloomberg realize what he was saying?

Maybe he was overcome by the smell.
