It's true, maybe.
Britney Spears' sheared locks (actually hair extensions) were temporarily up for sale on eBay.
After the listing for ITEM# 330089956532 was pulled, ESTHER'S HAIRCUTTING STUDIO IN TARZANA, CALIFORNIA set up this website.
Newsday reports:
The site, created by the infamous San Fernando Valley beauty salon where the deed was done, claims that an earlier eBay auction was canceled for unknown reasons, so they've started their own -- with a minimum bid set at $1 million.
"A portion of the proceeds will be donated to various charities."
The site touts the deal, which includes control of the site's domain name, as "the Ultimate Britney Spears Experience! It is a piece of history that can not be duplicated!"
But wait, there's more. You'll also get the Omega clipper used to cut her locks, her blue Bic Lighter and the can of Red Bull she was guzzling at the salon.
$1 million!
HAHAHAHA
That's insane, even more insane than Britney Spears has been behaving.
I think it's a joke, probably the brainchild of some loon of a publicist or an Internet mook.
Though it wouldn't surprise me a bit if Michael Jackson placed an anonymous bid to add the Britney Breakdown items to his collection of oddities.
The site has EXCLUSIVE photos of the hair and the Redbull can.
Wow. These photos are fascinating!
At auction, will they bring millions someday?
The sale has to all be a joke. It's too crazy.
Spears is really a pathetic figure. If this has been a calculated stunt, that's pathetic. If she's really cracking up, that's even more pathetic.
No matter what, I think she needs a break. She has to get herself together. She's a mother. She needs to start acting like one, put on underwear, and take care of her children.
Spears has received a good deal of sympathy since she shaved her head -- The poor girl is self-destructing before our eyes. She's a trainwreck. She going the way of Anna Nicole Smith.
If she's truly such a mess, then those close to her need to get her the help she needs. They at least need to try. Those with a financial stake in her career should do something, out of selfishness if not out of genuine concern for her.
Although she doesn't act like it, she's a grown woman with responsibilities. She's a grown woman who needs to grow up.
I don't understand how she can do this to her kids. They deserve better.
Not to be outdone by Britney's bizarro baldness, Donald Trump is claiming to be gambling with his hair.
In his case, it's definitely a publicity stunt, a fun thing.
DETROIT -- Will Donald Trump put his hair where his mouth is?
Trump and World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon will pick a wrestler to represent them in the ring April 1 at Wrestlemania 23 at Detroit's Ford Field, The Detroit News reported last week.
If their pick is beaten in the "Battle of the Billionaires," the loser will get his head shaved after the match, the Detroit Free Press reported Monday.
WWE spokesman Gary Davis said the date of the event had prompted speculation that it was a hoax. But it's not an April Fool's Day joke, he said.
"If Trump loses, he shaves his head," he said.
Gee, the suspense is killing me.
Who knows who will win the "Battle of the Billionaires"?
What a joke! Trump's not shaving his head. No way.
Of course, the outcome of that WWE match has already been decided. Vince McMahon will soon be bald like Britney.
I think it's also a safe bet to assume that his hair won't be up for sale on eBay.
I hope it won't. Yuck!
