Jimmy Fallon's "Car Wash for Peace"

Jimmy Fallon is one celebrity who actually supports the troops.

Rather than protesting and ranting like so many of the entertainment industry's egomaniacs, Fallon wrote a song,
"Car Wash For Peace," to raise funds. It's available on iTunes.

After performing it on Friday's Tonight Show, he told Jay Leno that he wasn't making a political statement. He just wanted to do something to help the troops.

Jimmy is donating his portion of the proceeds to Fisher House – a charity that supports America’s military by providing “a home away from home” that enables family members to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease, or injury. For more information check out http://www.fisherhouse.org/

Fallon said no one likes war and no one likes dirty cars.

True enough.

Car Wash For Peace

I'm so sick of all the news on T.V.
All this fighting got me going crazy
And someone wrote on my car "Please clean me"
Now I know what I got to do.
Listen everybody I¹m talking to you.

Let's have a car wash for peace.
There's trouble in the Middle East.
There will be no more wars,
Or dirty cars.
Car wash for peace.

Just remember -
We got to get together
In the parking lot across from WalMart Supercenter
Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Jews, C'mon all you Hindu dudes!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!

Let's have a car wash for peace.
There's trouble in the Middle East.
Got to put down those guns,
Pick up a sponge.
Car wash for peace.

Let's have a car wash for peace.
There's trouble in the Middle East.
There will be no more wars,
Or dirty cars.
Car wash for peace.
There will be no more wars,
Or dirty cars.
Car wash for peace.

Thanks, Rob! :)

Dave, I like Fallon's explanation that no likes wars and no one likes dirty cars.

It makes sense to me.

Hah.
You suck.
You suck so much.
I mean, aside from the whole jimmy fallon thing, and, aside from the psycho mass murderer quoute, most of those quotes you have are on point.
And, it's interesting to me, that a conservative would have those on their page. Because, these are the better statements some of these people have made, and, it's not political rhetoric, it should usually appeal to your pathos, really, but, you are a sick conservative.
It's a shame that the government is in the hands of people like you.

Gee Willie, I'm picking up some negative energy from you. I don't want to misinterpret your comment, but I get the feeling that you don't like me. Am I right?

And Willie, the U.S. Government has three branches. The Democrats control the legislative branch. The judicial branch isn't conservative. Some don't think the executive branch is in conservative control. It's wrong to say that the government is in the hands of conservatives, let alone hands like mine.

Why don't you get your car washed, you know, for peace?
