Tenuta's Targeted Again

Tuesday evening around 7:00 PM, three wannabe Bay View Bandits were planning to rob Tenuta's.

MPD arrested a 14-year-old male and two 16-year-old males for attempting to rob Tenuta’s. Police say all three were armed. One had a box cutter, another had a slim jim and the third had a BB gun. MPD says the boys were standing outside Tenuta’s Restaurant and were putting on bandannas. Someone inside thought that looked suspicious so they called police. Police arrived on the scene a short time later. When they arrived they, saw the suspects outside still putting on bandannas. Police say the teens admitted they were going to commit sometime of criminal act.

I thought the Bay View robberies were over.

Wrong.

It's a good thing that police were called and the thugs were apprehended. I hope they get more than a slap on the wrist.

So is this the beginning of another Bay View crime spree, or is this really just a continuation of the past string of robberies?

Was the last month just a temporary lull in the criminal activity in the area?

Where are the parents of the 14 and 16-year-old would-be robbers?

Perhaps their parents were out robbing some other establishment.
