There are times when I absolutely can't stand having Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold as my senators.
July 19, 2007 was one of those times.
Both Kohl and Feingold voted with their fellow irresponsible Democrat colleagues to stand with the terrorists rather than the brave, vigilant citizens that report suspicious behavior.
Here is the roll call vote, listing the 39 disgraceful U.S. senators that did the inexcusable.
Akaka (D-HI)
Biden (D-DE)
Bingaman (D-NM)
Boxer (D-CA)
Brown (D-OH)
Byrd (D-WV)
Cantwell (D-WA)
Cardin (D-MD)
Carper (D-DE)
Casey (D-PA)
Dodd (D-CT)
Durbin (D-IL)
Feingold (D-WI)
Harkin (D-IA)
Inouye (D-HI)
Kennedy (D-MA)
Kerry (D-MA)
Klobuchar (D-MN)
Kohl (D-WI)
Lautenberg (D-NJ)
Leahy (D-VT)
Levin (D-MI)
Lincoln (D-AR)
McCaskill (D-MO)
Menendez (D-NJ)
Mikulski (D-MD)
Murray (D-WA)
Nelson (D-FL)
Pryor (D-AR)
Reed (D-RI)
Reid (D-NV)
Rockefeller (D-WV)
Salazar (D-CO)
Sanders (I-VT)
Stabenow (D-MI)
Tester (D-MT)
Webb (D-VA)
Whitehouse (D-RI)
Wyden (D-OR)
This is truly a list of the shameful and dangerous. They are puppets of CAIR, complete dupes.
Are Kohl and Feingold really representing the people of Wisconsin with their votes to kill protection for citizens that dare to report suspicious activity and possible terrorism?
I certainly hope not.
It doesn't surprise me that Feingold would vote with the radical lib extremist Dems. He's one of the most extreme libs in the Senate, a lib among libs.
However, I am a bit surprised that the supposedly more moderate Kohl would side with the nutjob fringe Left on an issue like this. So much for Kohl's moderate facade. He was just reelected. I suppose he figures that he can afford to cast an unforgivable vote. Actually, Kohl can afford to do anything.
Their votes discourage Americans from doing what they've been asked to do since September 11, 2001 -- be vigilant.
Kohl and Feingold voted AGAINST protecting the homeland when they killed the John Doe Amendment. They cast anti-homeland security votes.
I'm thoroughly disgusted by their kowtowing to CAIR, supporters of terrorists.
Read more about the group here and here.
Let Kohl and Feingold know that you're paying attention.
