Another attempted armed robbery on a Milwaukee street...
So what else is new?
This one is a little different. The victim says the armed robbers were pre-teens.
From The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
A woman reported that two boys who appeared to be younger than 12 were armed with a handgun when they tried to rob her as she walked down a street on the city's north side yesterday, Milwaukee police said today.
The woman told police the boys, who she guessed were between the ages of 9 and 12, approached her in the 2700 block of N. Pierce St. about 1:40 p.m. They demanded valuables at which point, the woman told police, she turned around and said, "Are you kidding me?"
The boys left but returned a short while later as the woman continued her walk and approached her again. This time, the one with the gun struck the woman in the face with his fist. She was not seriously injured and the boys did not obtain any property, police said.
Where did the kids get the gun?
I'm guessing they found it behind the stove.
