CODEPINK ATTACKS

It really is inexcusable that CODEPINK wackos are allowed to disrupt the people's business in Washington.

At a hearing today, Condoleezza Rice was ambushed by the loons.

WASHINGTON -- Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Wednesday that a "two-state solution" in the Middle East was in jeopardy, and described a narrow window of opportunity to push Israel and the Palestinians toward peace.

In a House hearing interrupted by anti-war protesters, Rice said an upcoming peace conference in Annapolis, Md., is needed to give hope to moderate Palestinian forces. She blamed Iran for fanning flames in the region, including what she called "troubling" new support for Hamas militants.

"Our concern is growing that without a serious political prospect for the Palestinians that gives to moderate leaders a horizon that they can show to their people that indeed there is a two-state solution that is possible, we will lose the window for a two-state solution," Rice told the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Rice's testimony was punctuated by Iraq war protesters, including one female who rushed Rice as she entered the room and waved her hands — painted red to look like blood — in front of the secretary's face. She shouted that Rice was a "war criminal" and should be taken to the Hague, a reference to international war tribunals.

Rice was stoic and proceeded with business as normal as the protester was immediately spirited from the room. Other protesters were likewise escorted away at the behest of committee chairman Tom Lantos, D-Calif.

These nuts are easy to spot. They're decked out in their goofy CODEPINK regalia.

Security should do a better job of policing them.

I can understand that they have a right to attend hearings, but they don't have the right to get in people's faces. They don't have the right to disrupt proceedings.

Watch video of the protesters.

I wish I had been there.

When the loons were screeching at Rice, calling her a "war criminal," I would have yelled, "Tase them, Bro. Please, please, please, TASE THEM."

No, I wouldn't have done that. I'm not a loon.

My brother is part of Miss Rice's bodyguard unit. The woman that rushed at Miss Rice could very easily have been shot.
My brother encounters nuts like this on an almost daily basis. Always leftists. Always.

It seems that these nuts think it's a game. Do they stop to think that there could be terrible consequences, like getting shot?

You don't lunge at the U.S. Secretary of State.

I'm grateful for the security people willing to put themselves at risk to protect officials from these loons.

Back at Beirut High School, her graduating class voted Desiree al-Fairooz the student "Most Likely To Shahid".

Are you advocating color profiling? First pink! Next it would be blue! Where would it end? Conservative hacks like you know no limits when it comes to stealing our freedoms. If it wasn't for the war in Iraq the national guard could be protecting us and you would not be advocating color profiling.
