1-Year-Old Shot and Paralyzed

This story makes me nauseous, literally.

1-Year-Old Shooting Victim Paralyzed

The 1-year-old girl shot in her chest Thursday is paralyzed from the torso down.

The baby is in very serious condition at Arnold Palmer Hospital. It happened late Thursday morning inside a home on Stanbury Drive in the Pine Hills area of Orlando.

Homicide investigators were initially called to the scene of the shooting because her wounds were so critical but somewhere between the surgery and about 2:00 p.m. the little girl showed signs of improvement. However late Thursday it was confirmed the child is paralyzed from the torso down.

Investigators are trying to locate the two men who were there when the shooting occurred.

One of the subjects is the ex-boyfriend of the 1-year-old's mother.

It's always a boyfriend.
