Everything is a commercial. Last night's American Idol finale was filled with them. The show itself was promo after promo.
American Idol's new American Idol Experience at Disney World was hawked by reigning champ Jordin Sparks during the program.
It makes sense that this year's American Idol winner would promote it, too. David Cook is no Super Bowl MVP, but he's going to Disney World.
Both David Cook and David Archuleta also did twin Guitar Hero spots that aired during regular commercial breaks of the finale.
The spots reenacted Tom Cruise's Risky Business performance, with the Guitar Hero twist.
David Cook's was dramatically better. I don't think David A. has an "inner rock star" to unleash.
