If you planned to attend the Reedsburg Butter Festival this weekend, you'll have to change your plans. It has been canceled due to flooding.
From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
The Baraboo River crested overnight, but downtown Reedsburg was still flooded this morning.
Highway 23, the main street through town, has been closed down because the bridge over the Baraboo is underwater. Many side streets also are underwater, so yesterday it was taking 70 minutes to get from one end of the small town to the other, Police Chief Tim Becker said today.
...The annual Reedsburg Butter Festival, scheduled for this weekend, has been canceled, he said.
"This is the worst it's ever been," he said. "People who have lived here 50 years or longer have told me they've never seen it this bad."

i think cancelling butterfest is dumb because people should take their mind off the flooding and have fun 2 make them feel better is whatbutterfest is all about 2 have fun
The flooding in the area is so severe that I think organizers had no choice but to cancel, especially with more rain coming.
