Channel 58 "Adopts" Jets

Turn to Channel 58 WDJT-TV if you need a Favre fix.

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Milwaukee television station WDJT-TV (Channel 58) this morning has asked CBS Sports to send as many New York Jets games as it can into the Milwaukee market for the 2008 season, presuming Brett Favre is their starting quarterback.

...Channel 58 is an affiliate of CBS-TV, which carries most AFC telecasts.

The general manager of Channel 58, Jim Hall, said today the intense local interest in Favre will generate hefty ratings for any Jets games shown in the Milwaukee market.

"We are trying to get every Jets game we can get our hands on," Hall said. "They will become our adopted team."
