This press conference was like that point in a nightmare where you wake up in a cold sweat, screaming. You think you're falling off a cliff but you wake up before you hit the ground.
I didn't wake up. I hit the ground. Hard.
When Brett held up his Jets jersey...
When he said, "I am a member of the Jets..."
When he said, "My family and everyone involved have just been treated unbelievable by this organization..."
When he said, "I've always wanted to be a Packer. I think I always will be a Packer..."
"I'm not a traitor. Never will be."
"It's business. That's the way it works."
I bleed green and gold. I need a transfusion.
After watching the press conference, I have three words:
I am heartbroken.

It is confusing and disheartening to see his Jets jersey, but it would have been worse - much worse - if he would have been holding a Vikings or a Bears jersey.
Favre admitted in the press conference that he wanted to go to the Vikings or the Bears. At least he owned up to his vindictiveness.
That was quite an admission.
