GOLD: Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh

I get so stressed out watching LIVE Olympics coverage.

Yes, the Olympics have been quite a workout for me.

I'm exhausted from tonight's beach volleyball gold medal match between Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh and China's Tian Jia and Wang Jie.

What a sweet victory for Misty and Kerri!

Sand supremacy: Misty, Kerri defend title
Thursday's wet weather couldn't put an end to Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh's Olympic beach volleyball reign.

The Americans, who also won gold at the 2004 Athens Games, became the first team in beach volleyball history to win back-to-back Olympic crowns by defeating China's Tian Jia and Wang Jie 21-18, 21-18 in the women's gold-medal match.

"We're bringing home the gold," May-Treanor yelled after their match.

With the victory, May-Treanor and Walsh continued their beach dominance. The duo extended their winning streak to 108 straight matches, and won their 14th consecutive Olympic contest.

"This was our goal. Each tournament, each team we came across brought us one step closer to our goal," May-Treanor said. "We're flying high today."

Congratulations to the USA's beach volleyball golden girls!

(Does that sound like Bea Arthur and Betty White play beach volleyball?)
