Lions: 0-16

Thank God!

I was really worried the Packers would find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again.

It didn't happen.

It's not like it was a blowout, not at all.

But in the end, the Detroit Lions went 0-16.

No one is happier about that than me. The agony of a Packers loss would have been unbearable.

HOWEVER...

I don't think the fans at Lambeau should have been chanting "0-16."

That was totally unnecessary, very poor sportsmanship. I don't like that sort of taunting. WRONG. WRONG. WRONG.

It's not as if 6-10 is something to brag about. There's no question that the season has been a disappointment, though there have been shining moments, too.

I am so proud of Aaron Rodgers. I didn't think he would make it through the season, being so injury prone. When he was hurt, he sucked it up. Great job, Aaron!

Still, changes need to be made, big changes.

The season is over. It's December and we're done.

On the bright side, no Packer accidentally shot himself.

______________

Personally, I am thrilled that there won't be what had become that lame annual ritual of waiting to find out if Brett Favre would return for another season. I don't care what he does.
