I am sincerely concerned about Chris Matthews' mental health.
CHRIS MATTHEWS: I believe this is not only the first press conference of the new president-elect, but I think it might be the first time that Chuck Todd has been recognized. And I noticed the familiarity between you and the president-elect. I was very impressed, Chuck. His use of your, uh, your name and his familiarity with you as a person was very strong there.
CHUCK TODD: I, uh, you know, who knows what kind of relationship it really is or not, and who knows what kind of relationship it's going to be in the next couple of years?
MATTHEWS: OK, chief White House correspondent for NBC News Chuck, uh, Todd, who just lost his virginity, I think it's fair to say, out there.
TODD: You know, Chris...
MATTHEWS: I love the fact you're out there one on one with the president.
TODD: You just did a YouTube moment. You're killing me. You're killing me with that YouTube moment. That is... I think Jon Stewart just got his clip for the night. Appreciate that.
MATTHEWS: Well, I meant it in the most positive fashion possible.
TODD: I know you did.
MATTHEWS: You're the best. Thank you, Chuck Todd.
Todd lost his virginity?
Good grief.
It creeps me out the way Matthews describes Todd's encounter with Obama, as well as his own "thrill up his leg" reactions to Obama, in those weird sexual terms.
Down boy.

I don't believe that it is a deeply held secret that Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann have
been having a relationship for years. Chris would love to come out of the closet but hubby Keith is still a little shy.
