It's the end of the road for Milwaukee School Board member Charlene Hardin.
No more ripping off the community she was elected to serve.
From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Charlene Hardin's 12-year run on the Milwaukee School Board was left hanging by a thread after Tuesday's primary election.
City election officials said there were 70 write-in votes cast - presumably almost all for Hardin - in District 4 on the city's north side. That was well behind the totals of more than 250 votes each for the top vote-getters, who were both on the ballot. Those two, Annie Woodward and Michael Mathias, will face off in the April 7 final election.
It's amazing that Hardin got 70 write-in votes.
What were those people thinking?
