Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, and the Presidential Address

I think next to his American flag lapel pin Barack Obama should wear a pin that says "trainee."

He's still learning. Obama flubbed up when he began to deliver his first address to a Joint Session of Congress.

He didn't wait for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to introduce him.

Video.

Obama isn't as cool as people make him out to be. He makes mistakes. He flubs up. That's part of being human. I hope people, especially the Dem hacks in the media, start acknowledging the fact that he isn't perfect. Let the poor guy be human.

Obama definitely has to grow into his position as the president. He's not at ease yet. He's self-conscious. There's an awkwardness right now that I'm sure he'll get over.

Obama is so lucky to have such an enthusiastic cheerleading squad backing him up.

Were you watching Nancy Pelosi during the speech?

She couldn't stay seated. She couldn't stop jumping to her feet and wildly applauding. The woman could not contain herself. She was euphoric. It was creepy.

Speaking of creepy, in terms of physical attributes, it really worked in Obama's favor to have Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi sitting (and standing) behind him. The BOTOX-ridden freakish looking forehead of Biden and the surgically stretched face of Pelosi helped to highlight Obama's natural human appearance.
