American Idol: Stevie Wonder and Barack Obama

Two nights in a row on American Idol, Barack Obama was getting some love.

Last night, after listening to the judges critique her performance, Lil Rounds said, "Obama!"

Tonight, Stevie Wonder was performing a medley when he shouted, "I love you, Barack Obama!"

Enough with the political endorsements.

American Idol is my escape from politics. This Obama stuff is getting annoying.

Please, no politics.

Also, at the top of the show, Simon Cowell clarified comments he made on the Tonight Show earlier this week.

Of course, Simon was joking about being too busy to have dinner with Obama.

"IT WAS A JOKE," Simon said.

Just like the parade of nuts in Oakland this week, where the killer of four cops was being declared a hero, these people will absolve him of any mistakes. I think that what Obama is doing to the country is scary, an unprecedented power grab. As exhibited in the AIG bonus mess, Obama is willing to shred the Constitution.

That said, he's not as dangerous as Hitler or willing to do anything. He would never sign off on some sort of Final Solution program.

I strongly objected to the Democrats and the Left wingnuts referring to President Bush as Hitler.
