George W. Bush is no Bill Clinton. He's no Jimmy Carter.
Bush does not intend to undercut Barack Obama the way former Democrat presidents did to him when he was in office.
Take note Dems.
Jake Tapper writes:
Today in Calgary, Alberta, former President George W. Bush said he would refrain from criticizing the Obama administration and he wants President Obama to succeed.
“I'm not going to spend my time criticising him. There's plenty of critics in the arena. I think it's time for the ex-president to tap dance off the stage and let the current president have a go at solving the world's problems,” the former president said in remarks to business executives. “He deserves my silence. And if he wants my help, he can pick up the phone.”
...The speech today was Bush's first since leaving office in January. The event was organized by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and his remarks to business executives were closed to the press and the tickets were invitation only.
The former president said he wants President Obama to succeed. “I love my country a lot more than I love politics. I think it is essential that he be helped in the office.”
This is a great quote from Bush: "I love my country a lot more than I love politics."
The former Dem presidents showed that they loved bolstering their legacies by bashing the sitting president more than they love the country.
Obama is so lucky that Bush is not going to be publicly vocal when it comes to his criticism of Obama.
Don't expect to see Bush yapping with Larry King or Matt Lauer or Katie Couric or David Letterman or Jon Stewart about what a disaster Obama is.
Early indications are that Bush knows how to be a former president.
So far, he's doing a better job at that than Obama is doing at being the president.

If this is the case, he should speak out against Obama. The country Bush loves is at risk. This mess goes way beyond "politics."
Bush will remain quiet because when he opens his mouth he sounds like a retarded monkey. He couldn't speak or have an intellectual conversation as president and still cannot as an ex-president.
