I think Barney Frank is drunk on power.
He doesn't bother to conduct himself with any semblance of civility. He's acting like a bully.
Frank has been making on-the-record personal attacks.
He insulted Justice Antonin Scalia.
I wouldn't want [gay marriage] to go to the United States Supreme Court now because that homophobe Antonin Scalia has too many votes on this current court.
Disgraceful.
Yesterday, Frank slammed the GOP.

House Financial Services Chairman Barney Frank was in quite a mood on the floor of the House today -- questioning the sanity of Texas Republican John Culberson and other conservatives over their opposition to the new AIG bonus bill.
Frank grabbed the floor when Culberson blasted Democrats for passing the stimulus, which permitted AIG to lavish billions on executives after the de facto federal takeover.
Frank accused the GOP of attacking him for trying to fix the flawed stimulus, saying their attacks were part "of a psychological disorder I am not equipped to diagnose."
When Culberson coaxed another Democrat to admit he hadn't actually read the original 1,000-plus page stimulus -- Frank jumped in to point out that the new bill was much shorter -- while questioning Culberson's literacy skills.
"The bill is five-and-a-half pages -- even the gentlemen for Texas could have read it by now."

Fwank continues to prove that he is mentally unstable. I cannot fathom voting for this "man" and cannot begin to understand why he keeps getting reelected.
Always remember that his lover was running a homosecxual prostitution ring out of his apartment and another of his lovers held a high position at Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac (I don't remember which). He's a real peach.
The more this nutcase keeps his act front and center the better chance we have of regaining control of our government and saving the USA before it is too late.
Oh, and if Barney expects respect he should should show some respect. Not in chance in h e double hockey sticks that is ever going to happen.
Frank is a bully. Remember how he threatened Liddy during those hearings on the AIG bonuses?
Frank doesn't deserve respect. His blustering is so thuggish.
